CLC Family Camp FAQ:
Who can come?
Family programs are open to all ages from infants to mature adults. Come with your spouse, child, grandchild, friends or come alone. Children may stay with their families or may come alone and live in a cabin family with other children and counselors. Family programs are open to Christian Scientists and members of their families who agree to abstain from the use of any alcoholic beverages, tobacco products or illegal drugs while at camp.
What should we bring?
Bring casual, comfortable clothes. Days are usually warm, but evenings can be cool so bring a warm sweater or a light jacket. We recommend walking shoes and sneakers instead of dress shoes and sandals. Don’t forget your bathing suit. Limited laundry facilities are available. Bring your own towels. Bedding is provided. If you have musical talent, bring your music and musical instruments to play for our Vespers and Talent Show programs.
What will we eat?
All your meals are included in this package rate. We serve 3 hearty meals a day in our central dining hall. Food is homemade and delicious! We have vegetarian entrées daily, as well as a well-stocked salad bar and PB & J or other alternatives for very young or picky eaters. We are happy to accomodate other dietary needs. Kitchen facilities are available for families to store and prepare special foods for infants.
Where will we stay?
We have a variety of accommodations to fit your budget. Our full price rate is for a heated cabin with a private or shared bathroom. More rustic accommodations at a 25% discount are available during our August session. Save even more by camping in your own tent or RV (no hookups).
What activities are offered:
A wide variety of activities will be available, including things such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, horseback riding, archery, soccer, tennis, pottery, arts & crafts, ropes course, rock climbing, camping, testimony meeting, talent show, and much more!
