Susan Totterdale
Hi! My name is Susan Totterdale and I will be the girls' Head Counselor this year. This will be my bajillionth year at CLC. I spent the last year teaching Spanish and climbing up trees. I just haven't learned how to climb down yet. I also love newts, butterflies, Mack trucks and anyone who plays the banjo...actually, I love everyone! I can't wait to see you all! Hasta luego lambs! |
 |
Liz Wright
I'm Liz! My medium length brown hair looks nothing like my sister's gorgeous red locks but we truly are related. I love all things creative, from drawing to dancing. I am an avid ballroom dancer and have a passion for watching Disney movies. When I'm not at camp, you'll find me in my 1820's farmhouse in New Hampshire or in my new home at Principia College with my two plants, Daisy and Jade. This summer I'll be teaching swing dancing and video production! Can't wait to see you this summer! |
 |
Jasmine Scott
Hey, I'm Jasmine. I'm so happy to be at camp this year! I'm going to be a counselor in the girls camp and also teaching a photo class (take it!) This is my billionth year here...the food keeps me coming back each year, and of course all the crazy kids! Can't wait to see you all! |

Alex Hayes
Hi! I'm Alex and I've come all the way from Missoula, MT for another wonderful summer at camp. There are so many things I love about CLC but the best thing by far is sharing the limitless atmosphere of Christian Science with kids. I also love puns of all kinds and have a huge affinity for Monty Python. I will be teaching archery and chess this summer and then will begin my freshman year at Principia College in the fall. It'll be a GREAT summer! |

I row at school and also enjoy playing the piano and saxophone. This is my second summer here at Crystal Lake and I am excited to be here. I will be running the Trailblazers program again this year. "Holy Cow," it's gonna be a great summer!

Jeff Bailey
This handsome 17 year old guitarist is serving as a cabin counselor for sessions I and II. You'll notice that he's grown considerably since last summer. He enjoys long walks on the beach, romantic candlelit dinners and teaching canoeing, kayaking and rocketry to kids. He's been coming to camp since 1992 and it's been rumored that his fabled pirate treasure lies at the bottom of Crystal lake after his ship sank one stormy night many years ago. Hope everyone has an awesome summer and don't forget to eat your vegetables.

Dear whoever is reading this: I cannot wait to meet you! This is my first year at Crystal Lake...well, at any camp at all, as a matter of fact. So you may be wondering what qualifies me to teach you drama games, writing and arts and crafts, lead you on overnights through the mountains and be your cabin counselor for two weeks. Well, I'm a theatre major at Principia College, English has always been one of my favorite subjects and the only presents my family and friends ever get from me are handmade. I love Christian Science and sharing it with other people and learning about it from others, too. Oh, about the overnights...I have a really cool backpack. |

Veronica Rivera

Hey, my name's Ian. Sadly, I won't be at camp the whole summer but if you're going to be at camp second or third session, I'll see you there! I'll be teaching drama, nature and ultimate frisbee. I enjoy bug juice and getting caught in the rain. My hobbies include playing guitar, magic, listening to music and watching movies. Viktor Navorksi is my hero. I'll be going to Prin next fall and I want to be an actor when I grow up. |

My name is Tara Kelly Kearns and I am a recent college graduate from Washington state. I have a big family and therefore I love people. Singing and speaking other languages are my passions so if you ever hear a far off yodel, that'd be me. I'm always up for an adventure so if you have any good ideas, let me know! I love to eat sushi, too! This summer I will be teaching soccer and singing - but not simultaneously.

Hello. My name is Erik and I'm from Reno, NV (where the population is you and the lizards). I enjoy underwater basketweaving and electric fan licking. I guess there's a picture of me nearby so you can see what I look like. If you don't like it, you can always use it for a dart board. So see ya later. Love, peace and chicken grease. |

Adrian Allen
Tito Puente once said, "salsa is what you eat!" I however, think salsa is a really fun dance, a dance I have become addicted to recently. Incidentally, I started a ballroom dance team at Principia College with a good buddy. What I like more than dance is music. In my free time, you might find me playing cello or maybe guitar, trumpet, piano or just about any other instrument I can get my hands on. What's better than dancing and music? People! I can't wait to meet all the campers. This summer I will teach video, archery and fishing. I find the last one a little funny because my name means "fisher of the sea." Hmm..I wonder how they figured that out. Probably through extensive cross-referencing of my fingerprints through the FBI and CIA - it's a tough application process! I live in Columbus, OH when I'm not in Elsah, IL at school.

Kent Truog
G'day! I'm Kent Truog. I'm 19 years old and I'm originally from the Emerald City of Seattle, Washington. When I'm not avoiding the rain, I reside next to the Mother Church in Boston, MA where I attend Emerson College and study Media Production. I have full aspirations of moving to Hollywood and taking over the world of entertainment after I graduate. This is my first CLC experience and due to Divine inspiration, I'm one of the lucky few who get to be a counselor this summer. I will be teaching mountain biking, video and basketball while I am here and I'm looking forward to an amazing summer, filled with the ultimate truth, Christian Science! Aloha! Who's down with MBE? Yeah you know me!

I'm Alyson! My bright, long red hair reminds many people of a lion but in fact, small house cats are my favorite animals. I love dancing anywhere and any time. I’ve been walking on my toes since I was a little girl. I’m going to have to say my all-time favorite activity is laughing. I look forward to meeting you all!

Jeff Eckert
Hi! My name is Jeff Eckert! This is my 9th year here at CLC. I come for the fresh, cool breezes and morning walks on the beach. Before I came to camp, I was a professional underground vacuum racer. I really love being a counselor. Also, I enjoy good cheese. Who doesn’t? Well, see you soon!

Jessica Henderson
Hi! I am honored to be the Camp Director of Crystal Lake Camps after spending a number of summers here as a camper and counselor in years past. It's been great to "come home" and give back to a place that meant so much to me as a teenager. I've loved working all year for this great adventure and it is an amazing thing to see the incredibly talented staff and campers come together and create a giant family. Thanks to all who have helped make this summer possible!
