October 13, 2003: We had perfect weather and foliage for our Harvest Weekend 2003! Forty CLC alumni, campers and staff, as well as newcomers to Crystal Lake gathered together to enjoy 4 days of fall activities and fellowship. Highlights included a performance by a live bluegrass band, hayrides, pumpkin carving, balloon twisting, pony rides, soapmaking, and, of course, Suzanne’s delicious apple pie. June 6 -8, 2003
CLC Work Weekend: Alumni and friends of Crystal Lake came together
for a very productive few days of projects on the CLC property. Highlights of
the weekend: Tearing apart an old dock and redefining the definition of filth,
putting out the float dock and jumping in the (frigid) water to swim back after
getting stranded, finding ancient camp shirts in the old camp store storage
room, karaoke, basketball games, and killer garlic bread. Thanks to all who
pitched in!
May 23 - 26, 2003
Memorial Day Open House Weekend at CLC was a huge success!
We had a wonderful blend of new families and old friends for a total of
45 guests over the fun-filled weekend. On Sunday afternoon, an
additional 65 teens descended upon camp for an overnight stay at the end
of their DiscoveryBound rafting trip. It was a blast! Click here for

April 27, 2003
Camp Practitioner Marilyn Armbruster and her family hosted a CLC show in their home in St. Charles, IL. Highlights were Marilyn’s triple-berry French toast and the family dog’s singing prelude to the camp video.

Crystal Lake made a splash in Florida! 30 kids and adults converged at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon in Orlando, FL for a day of waterslides and body surfing, as well as a picnic lunch and CLC video show. See pictures of the event.

It was a warm, springy day for our Crystal Lake show at the home of CLC Trustee Bill Dredge in Princeton, NJ. We had a nice turnout and a delicious lunch. See pictures of the event.

CLC hosted a Sunday Brunch at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Many families new to Crystal Lake as well as some alumni, campers, and staff enjoyed the good food and company. See pictures of the event.

Sixty adults and kids converged at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax, VA to eat a scrumptious brunch and learn about what’s new at CLC. Some of the families present were the McElfreshes, McLelands, Cranmers, Whalleys, Brunstrums, and Southerns – just to name a few. There were also a number of new families who enjoyed learning about Crystal Lake programs.
